1996 Acura TL 2.5 overheating issue?

try opening radiator and filling it when the motor is cold watch the flow of coolant in radiator if it moves up and down every few minute after it gets warm the thermostat is working .. signs also will be it will over heat in a short time or drive like 30 minutes or less... and if the radiator is plugged it could over heat at speed.. most water pumps will leak if bad id say you have a dirty radiator and needs to be dip or flush by a shop
