Am i totally wrong here?

all right, my brother is 11 years old and just got this toy that looks fun but it is THE MOST OBNOXIOUS toy in the world. it is a basketball hoop that he can attach to his door and can play little miniature basketball. the thing is, everytime he makes a shot, it goes through the hoop and slams against the door. everytime he misses, it slams against the door. he has been playing nonstop and i have been hearing this loud bang every 5 seconds (NOT an exaggeration) for over an hour. i already had a splitting headache yesterday which was getting better but now its starting to come back because of the loud bangs of that stupid ball. i have asked him to please stop playing with it, or put it outside or something, because not only do i have a huge essay due tuesday that i have to write, but i also CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE! its getting louder. my parents arent very supportive, they say "just stop he has a new toy let him play im sorry it bugs you but just let him do it" and i say
