Labor starting and stopping?

i am 36 weeks today and have been dilated about 2 cm for the past couple of weeks. the past two days i have had a lot of menstrual cramps low in my back and increased clear chunky discharge. when i get the cramps i usually continue my activity for a while but as soon as i want to start timing them (dont want to get excited over nothing) they stop. i am due for a repeat c section may 4 but i was wondering if the cramps continue like this would they move my date up or possibly put me in the hospital for a while after my doc appt today to observe? i definitely dont want baby Noah to come out when he is not completely ready but i am also totally ready to have him in my arms. this pregnancy has not been easy, quite painful actually due to pelvic disproportion. also i always thought that the baby being complete breech mean that the odds of going into labor on my own are slim?
