Poll: Do you have something against Jews?

Yesterday when I was walking down the street with my Jewish star necklace, a pedestrian ping by told me I was going to rot in hell for not accepting Jesus. Im not accusing anyone, Im just honestly curious if that was just one guy, or if that is a common belief about Jewish people in Christian and Catholic churches.
