On new edge mustangs, are Cobra brakes better performing or Bullit brakes?

I recently purchased and installed a Cobra brake upgrade kit for the front of my Mustang GT, which I paid around $550 for, after which, my friend tells me I overpaid just to have Cobra painted on the calipers. He bought a Bullitt upgrade kit which also has 13' rotors, and calipers, and pads. The only thing extra mine came with are Cobra brake hoses, which I can't use on my GT anyway so will be selling them. But anyway, did i pay more just for the name and unusable braided hoses, or do Cobra brakes actually perform better??
