What do men like?

What do guys like to hear on the phone. Don't tell me phone or anything like that (haha I already know bout that one). We have completely hit it off great, now I want to keep him enticed. I'm not in high school, nor am I young..so keep that in mind please when you respond to this. Also..what kinds of things do guys like to get for valentines day? My guy and I have been dating for a little over a month, and we don't see each other often because he's in the military, and is 3 hours away. Please give me some good ideas! :) Thank you!
