What do you like or dislike about the Lutheran church/religion?

I have a good friend who is a Lutheran, but get this, he teaches Greek and Latin at a Baptist Seminary. I have no problem with the Lutheran Church--may disagree on some nonessential doctrinal subjects but that is of no consequence. I do find it strange that some wear the Catholic like uniforms. Collar and such.
