Maybe you can ask your mom to read one of the books to see if she thinks it's appropriate for you. It's probably one of the most G rated books out there for your age group. It's also written by a mormon, so as far as religion goes theres nothing offensive. The only thing that they mention as far as religion is the fact that Carlisle's father was a preacher who sent him out to hunt vampires, but they don't paint religion in a bad light. They actually mention that they are trying to atone for being "monsters" by being vegetarian vampires since they hope to go to Heaven. Good luck.
