Ok, I just started a new job and I am not allowed to smoke, it is a waitressing job and people that work in the restaurant industry that are smokers can feel me, it can be very stressful and not being able to take that nicotine break is crucial. I was in training last week and having to go in at 7:45 and get off at 4:00 I was pretty good at making excuses to go to my car, but the last day they were training me at the register and I hand't had a cig in 6 hours and wanted to smash the micro screen cause I was ill from it and me wanting a cig. me and this other guy brought up to the manager that not being able to take cigarette breaks during times of stress makes it worse and of course he isn't a smoker and don't get where we are coming from and he just said well what about us non smokers, he don't understand that it's mainly because YOU NEED YOUR NICOTINE AND THEY DON'T!!!! Do I need to test my dog for worms before treating her for them?

She shows all of the symptoms for worms (except for the pot-belly which applies to puppies). Did i get alcohol poisoning?

so monday night i hadnt eaten much i ate around 3:30 and just had a yogurt and granola bar. i started drinking that night around 9-9:30 i probably took about 9 shots not sure since i blacked out. i woke up the next morning feeling okay then fell back to sleep shorty after being awake for about 15 mnutes. i woke up again much later and my whole body was shaking extremly bad and tryed to get up to get water and i could barley grab a cup since my hands were trembling so bad i could also barley talk because of the trembling. i drank some water then soon after started throwing up. i threw up about 3 times then tryed to drink some juice and 10 minutes later threw all of that up as well, i probably threw up at least 5 or 6 times.(and not once did i throw up any type of food it was all luquid) i layed in bed all day since 12 to 6 at night feeling like i couldnt move.. i ate a burger around 8 and felt somewhat better. now its the next morning and im still kinda neauseous... did i get some kind of alcohol poisoning?? the neasuea i was feeling all day was so bad i couldnt even lay down i was so unconfortble! pretty much felt like i was dying

Can a baby blue jay that has been hand raised be released?

my daughter found a baby blue jay in our yard last week. the poor thing must have fallen from it's nest, and was completely covered in ants. it's hard for me to imagine, but if she hadn't found it, i'm sure the ants would have eaten it, even though it was still alive. after getting the ants off of it she brought it inside. we looked in the trees where she found the baby, but unfortunately we didn't see a nest. i bought some kaytee bird formula and have been feeding it according to the directions. the baby bird seems to really be flourishing. i'm hoping it will make it. will we be able to eventually release the bird back outside, or will it be too used to humans? my fear is that if we let it go, it won't be "afraid" of humans or other animals, and something will happen to it. has anyone ever had this experience? if so, any advice or suggestions would very much be appreciated. i don't know of any wild life sanctuarys close to us. also, when should we start to feed the baby bird other things? what else do blue jays eat? thank you.

so, i have an eating disorder and am in recovery i dont think my body is used to this much food.. i have had bad constipation..about 12 days ago i went 4 days without having a bowel movement and took these laxatives under adult supervision might i add. and i went ALOT. but then after that i didnt go, and i thought oh well must be all cleaned out..then a week went by and i told my dad, yesterday he called my doctor and they put me on Miralax. and its supposed to take 1-3 days to work. my doctor put me on 1/2 of the cap full. its the 2nd day and i still am so constipated,i can feel my stool around my rectum its hard and its not coming out. the miralax is supposed to be a stool softener, but im just worried. should i take a little bit more.. or just wait it out and if tomorrow i dont go, tell my dad and he can call the doctor? idk.

if you are going skydiving, most likely what you will feel is a lot of nervousness and erflies in your tummy. I doubt you will cramp up, but you will probably be scared (who wouldn't be?). I know I was my first few times! The scariest part is when you are riding up in the plane to altitude, after you jump out it is not scary at all but pure enjoyment. On a rollercoaster, (for me at least) it is kinda scary until the ride stops, versus skydiving where after you finally jump out, it is not scary.

I'm 16 and I got my first job as a lifeguard at a waterpark. I work full time and we arent open on weekdays so I work 7 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday. When summer rolls around I will only get 2-3 days off per week. Us lifeguards here are also janitors. Long story short, between working and school I get so tired out. Labor starting and stopping?

i am 36 weeks today and have been dilated about 2 cm for the past couple of weeks. the past two days i have had a lot of menstrual cramps low in my back and increased clear chunky discharge. when i get the cramps i usually continue my activity for a while but as soon as i want to start timing them (dont want to get excited over nothing) they stop. i am due for a repeat c section may 4 but i was wondering if the cramps continue like this would they move my date up or possibly put me in the hospital for a while after my doc appt today to observe? i definitely dont want baby Noah to come out when he is not completely ready but i am also totally ready to have him in my arms. this pregnancy has not been easy, quite painful actually due to pelvic disproportion. also i always thought that the baby being complete breech mean that the odds of going into labor on my own are slim?

This is a normal problem with lucid dreaming, I have been a lucid dreamer for over 25 years and I have had the same problem as the one you described. I think that there is a very fine balance between dreaming and waking. What seems to happen is that the more lucid you become the closer you seem to get to the waking state, in fact I have been awake and watching a dream at the same time which is very weird. The only advice I can give you is try and find the balance, its not easy to locate , I still wake and get cross especially when its a good dream. My personal expertise if you like is flying, I started of with a glide of about 20 feet and now I can levitate at will in my dreams. What could this pain mean?

Well it could be a number of things but let's start with two for now. You could have a herniated disk in your neck or upper back (cervical and/or lower lumbar area) or yes, you could have nerve damage. You can also have both. you may have nerve damage without realizing how or why or you could have nerve damage due to the possible disk issue. I'm not a doctor or an R.N but I get the same symptoms in my left leg; have for years, and an MRI showed that I have a herniated disk and subsequently sciatica due to that condition. So I believe you may have sciatica and/or a herniated disk, both of which can be serious if left untreated for too long. Not to mention the horrific pain that accompanies it. I'm not sure what state you are from but I'm sure there are free or low- cost clinics for people in your situation. God bless your husband for doing what he can. It may feel better at the time or right after the mage but it could possibly damage or do more damage to the area. Try to find a free or low- cost clinic to go to to have this checked, diagnosed and treated or if you can't take it anymore simply go to the Emergency Room. Medical staff treat things like this all of the time and not only can they make you feel better- possibly- but they can also refer you to an institution that you can afford or that is free. However it is done please just get it looked at by a doctor. An M.D, not a chiropractor. Let me know what happens and if I helped at all. Sorry you are dealing with this but in this day and age you shouldn't have to suffer, especially from something that is a mystery to you. Good luck.

While I do not know for sure, I would highly doubt that one is made by Nissan. NISMO is Nissan's high-performance company, and would have been responsible for making the pulley you have on your Xterra currently. Upgrading the S/C pulley will increase the boost to your engine. While this will give you more power, it also places greater strain on the engine. This is not something Nissan wants happening, especially if the vehicle is under warranty.

Definitely Alternator?

One thing first. The old bit, of running with the negative lead disconnected is a no no on newer cars. It can cause computer damage. Before I'd start spending hard earned money on parts I'd do a thorough cleaning of the battery posts and cable connectors with a wire brush, then have the battery tested on a load meter and then have the alternator checked out completely. It sounds like the alternator is not up to the load, either because it is flaky or is under sized. However bad connections or a battery with deteriorated plates could be the cause. Just don't waste money by throwing parts at it willy nilly as some have suggested.

Well I will make a long story short. My oldest daughter has had a handful of seizures in her life time (she is 8 now) We have taken her to some great Dr's that specialize in pediatric neurology, they have all been great but no answers, they have all said that she will probably end up out growing this. if you ask me, pakistan is very similar to india. all my family from india that visited pakistan did not really feel as if they were in a foreign country when they visited pakistan. both countries have growing economies and both nations will play much bigger world economic roles in the future. as for the terrorism problem, it is a major issue in the swat valley and in the areas neighboring pakistan but it is not a problem for pakistan as a whole.

Looks like in very fine or extra fine the prices vary from $120 for late date ones to $275 for early dated ones. This is a book value and a lot depends on the price of gold at the time. Most dealers have in their ads prices subject to change without notice and to call for today's price. Of course the rare ones like the 1841 that books for $5,500 in Extra fine keep there value even if gold goes down in price. You really need to see a coin dealer if you are selling or buying. The Sovereign of course has a higher price usually in the UK than here in the States. That is not to say there are not collectors of British coins here. I go for the coppers before 1815 for they could have been used by this countries founding fathers. I forgot to look in World Coin News and I found a 1871 in very fine for $160, 1892 in extra fine/almost uncirculated $155. Hope this helps.

Is my cat depressed?

My cat is called Suzy and she is 16. She usually stays in the kitchen where her bed is but today she was hiding under my mums bed and just wouldnt move at all. She had a sort of sad / nasty look on her face and yet when I tried stroking her, she did not purr which she always does. I could not tempt her out with food either. I had to push her out but she didnt move her paws at all. Shes been a bit sick lately too, does that have some effect on it? I recently purchased and installed a Cobra brake upgrade kit for the front of my Mustang GT, which I paid around $550 for, after which, my friend tells me I overpaid just to have Cobra painted on the calipers. He bought a Bullitt upgrade kit which also has 13' rotors, and calipers, and pads. The only thing extra mine came with are Cobra brake hoses, which I can't use on my GT anyway so will be selling them. How do I make iTunes recognize several songs as one album?

I recently downloaded "Transatlanticism," (not from iTunes), and am having serious trouble making my iTunes library recognize all of the songs as one album. I went into the meta data, and entered in artist, ("Death Cab for Cutie"), year ("2003"), album name, ("Transatlanticism"), and number of tracks in the album ("11") EXACTLY the same for every song, and there is no other meta data that I have filled in, and yet it still arbitrarily has the tracks split up into three different albums, each by Death Cab for Cutie, and called Transatlanticism. Why won't it consolidate them, and is there anything I can do to make the program recognize that it's one album?

He keeps himself isolated and can't socialize with you because of his choice not to learn English. That right there is enough to make an unhappy marriage. How are you supposed to be turned on by someone who has no motivation, no desire to be a good husband outside of housekeeping and who won't help himself? It was a different story when you lived in Korea, that man is who you married. It isn't selfish to not appreciate the person he has become since he wasn't that way when you married. As for going back to Korea, is that what had been discussed previously? If when you married him, you were clear that you didn't intend to live in Korea after returning to the US then you have done nothing wrong. If you told him that you were OK with living there and now you've changed your mind, then that isn't fair to him. I don't blame you for not wanting to live in Korea, my best friend is from Seoul and has lived here for years and would NEVER want to return because of the way women are treated. Children who are half Korean are also treated horribly according to her and several other Koreans I know, so that is something to consider if you plan to have any. If you never planned to move back to Korea with him, and he's known this, he has no right to expect you to now. He does sound depressed and that is a problem. Where I live, there are lots of doctors, therapists and such that speak Korean. There's also a service that translates for free in all of our local hospitals. If you would consider counseling with a Korean speaking therapist, google "Korean speaking therapist in (your town)" and if you get nothing, substitute the word therapist for counselor, psychologist, social worker, etc. If that sounds good to you, keep trying to find what you need. He is not being fair to you by giving you guilt trips when he is the one behaving poorly. I don't think you're being selfish. It isn't your wifely duty to give up your life and go to a place that sees you as second cl when he hasn't made the effort he should have.
